Dolenz Sings Nesmith is two musical friends meeting on the high planes of agreement. Michael Nesmith and Micky Dolenz have been talking about recording this album for years. Those discussions became more frequent backstage at Nez's recent First National Band Redux concerts. Micky loved the songs he was hearing, and the performer in him needed to sing them.

Now those backstage chats have become a reality. Dolenz Sings Nesmith reimagines thirteen of Michael Nesmith's finest compositions as sung by Micky Dolenz and produced by Christian Nesmith.
