Rio Records was established by Nez on June 15, 1994, to distribute ideas. That is why the logo is moonlight through the palm trees, over rippling waters. It is navigating to music and what one might find in that direction of thought: the lost continents, the invisible cities, the spiritual sky, the interior of planets. One of the label's first releases was The Garden on CD-ROM. Since 1994, many of Nez's works have been released through Rio -- including the Infinitia box set and Live at the Britt Festival DVD and CD.
